Laminate Coating

Laminate Coating

Lamina dental veneer is the process of giving a more durable, healthy, and aesthetically natural appearance by covering the tooth surface with a porcelain layer as a result of very little abrasion and shaping of the tooth.

Before the lamina tooth coating process, the teeth of the person are analyzed and the problematic teeth are determined. Necessary interventions are made on these teeth and the porcelain layer is brought to a position where it can settle. Then the porcelain layer is prepared for application. The porcelain layer should be made as thin as possible. The thinner the porcelain layer, the higher the light transmittance.

With the lamina dental veneer treatment, the aesthetic appearance of the teeth and at the same time their naturalness are brought to the fore. Then grinding of teeth is done for the veneer. Size reduction, aesthetic deterioration, and similar situations are not seen during the abrasion of the teeth. This thinning process is done to give the tooth the most suitable shape and to fit the porcelain veneer well to the tooth.

Abrasion on their teeth is of great importance for patients with permanent yellowing of their teeth. Because these patients consume cigarettes, coffee and tea abundantly, different colored layers have formed on their teeth. To remove this yellow layer and make the porcelain coating more aesthetic, etching is required. Depending on the nutritional habits of the patient after the coating, the problem of tooth color is largely prevented.
